Here is an exclusive look at the Air Jordan 7 (VII) - Olympics 2008. Jordan Brand is set to release another color-way of the Air Jordan 7 (VII), which is part of their Olympic Celebration Pack. Supposedly, the artwork design featured on the sneaker was inspired by a Barcelona artist named Miro. Everything, including the color scheme, all draw ties from the 1992 Olympic Games. They are set to release in Barcelona on July 5th, and will release worldwide about a month later. They will retail for $175. What do you think about this color-way?

When blood’s raw, its blue correct? Regardless, we got that triple dose of raw blood for SMASHup today to hold you over for the weekend. Jean Grae strikes us with a love thirsty remix with Busta Rhymes, thats oh soo smooth. Ol girl always gets it in like ohhhh (word to Grafh). Swizzy shouldnt be asking where the cash at though, Foxy should. All those court fees got her backed up, and she cant even cosign her album. As bonus, Mic Terror gives us the C version of Mazzi’s lesson/experiments and Immortal Technique, Ras Kass & Diabolic ask for a little payback from those in the oval office. Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting p*ssy…

In This First Part Janelle Responds To The Praises Erykah Badu Was Giving Her On The okayplayer Message Board.

Counting down to The Carter 3 release, industry insiders revisit The Block Is Hot, Weezy’s ascencion with the Hot Boys and bling bling’s cultural significance.

Young Jeezy

Why He’s Hot
He can dominate the show on a posse cut with some of his most mic-savvy peers, then successfully facilitate requests from mainstream mainstays like Mariah Carey and Usher, who call him to sanctify their #1 albums and songs with his seamless street swagger. Young Jeezy is at his pinnacle. Don’t misconstrue the ranking: He’s #8 with a bullet. We fully expect the Atlanta hustler to rank higher next time. After the release of USDA’s LP Cold Summer in mid-2007, Mr. 17.5 shut down publicly to work on his top-secret third album and “count all that money.”

Even with a break, the ‘hood’s loyalty toward him has remained, and when he re-emerged on records like Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know” remix and Rick Ross’ “Luxury Tax,” it was evident he was setting himself up for a run at the crown. His placements of late — the actual songs he’s chosen to get on — have been flawless, ranging from chart hits to club anthems. The Snowman’s rhyme-dispensing on these records has also been stellar. He’s improving as a lyricist, and he has so much swag that you can tell he’s inspired a whole brood of new southern MCs to bite his style.

The 1st and 15th are our favorite days of the month arent they? Sometimes, except for when you dont get paid and it turns into beef. But with everything, you gotta press on (Word to DJ Desue). Dude brought out Ja Rule and Mary J back on some Rainy Days ish. Jadakiss hands us a coast to coast remix courtesy of DJ Rhude and what you think about Lloyd Banks being in “your favorite mc’s” top 5? Shouts to Rock City for losing it, i almost did earlier too. As bonus Papoose gets Temptation’d out singing ‘My Girl’ and Icadon claims he’s a star.
