Beyoncé Announces ‘Black is King’ Album Release Date with JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar & More

Out July 31st!

This week, Disney announced that Beyoncé’s Black is King project would be arriving on their streaming service in a few days. The project, which is written and directed by bey will hit Disney Plus on July 31st. The visual album is inspired by The Lion King, and will release on the exact date of the 2019 theatrical film.

An official trailer for the project released on her website, and will have some guest appearances on the presentation. Those features are set to be Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter and Jessie Reyez among others.
