Mass Effect: Andromeda
For a prestigious franchise like the Mass Effect series to implode within, it’s really difficult seeing the fate in one of our favorite video game franchises hindered from being released to the public. With the franchise slowly approaching its 10-year anniversary, little is known about their first offering for next-generation – outside of taking place inside of the Andromeda Galaxy.
From Bioware staff at odds over the direction of the AAA-title and Electronic Arts not over-stepping their boundaries to cause more tension, the development for Mass Effect: Andromeda is a complete mess. However, our love for the action role-playing third person shooter is beyond all of those factors, which we’re patiently awaiting a release date for the fourth installment of the IP.
To not be confused, this is not Mass Effect 4, which Bioware has went to reiterate multiple times for those confused about this upcoming release. EA DICE will be using the Frostbite 3 engine we all love from the recent Battlefield titles on consoles and PC. ME: Andromeda has no current release date set in place, but we can look for it to arrive next holiday – or early 2017.
