NFL Sunday Ticket
One of the biggest apps that’s seen on PlayStation 3 and not Xbox 360 is the DirectTV NFL Sunday Ticket. Any football fan that doesn’t have DirecTV, has to have to app on their next generation Xbox console. Xbox live offers NBA Gametime, NHL GameCenter Ice, MLB Extra Innings and ESPN (the most pointless app on the console); but fails to have an app for the biggest sport in North America, the NFL.
Sunday ticket streaming came online last year to NFL.com and DirecTV, which Sony was first to land a deal for the service. We’re owners of both consoles but keep our Xbox 360 on more when we’re not gaming on PC (due to the online service), as we’re hopeful MS makes that announcement with Electronic Arts at the press conference tomorrow.
