10 Things We Want To See From The Next Xbox

Dedicated Servers

One of the biggest gripes we have on Xbox Live is the lack of dedicated servers. If we’re paying for multiple DLC releases, Xbox Live (why play online when we can on PC for free) and games, then we should at least see dedicated servers on the console’s top games. We’re not expecting it for every game that releases, but at least the top 5 titles, like your Halo’s, Gears of Wars, Call of Duty’s and more.

Like pictured above, the most annoying thing we encounter every sit-down is host switching in Black Ops 2, which happens the majority of the time we’re playing. It’s very annoying and if we’re on a rapid killing spree and the host leaves the game (or really tries to lag-switch); it messes with the momentum we have. Microsoft’s biggest title of all-time, Halo 4, still does not have dedicated after nearly 12 years (BAFFLING).

It’s always their number one rated game (traffic wise) on Xbox Live with more and more people playing every year with the everlasting community. Hopefully we see dedicated servers implemented into the next console, because it really affects the fun we have while enjoying our favorite titles.
