10 Things We Want To See From The Next Xbox

Better Usage Of The Kinect

When Kinect released in 2010, we were shown a few promising titles, including announcements that the latest invention to next-generation gaming would be compatible with sports and first person shooter titles. With the exception of Tiger Woods PGA, we’re yet to see a true licensed sports game to properly use the Kinect sensor like we’ve dreamt of since its e3 2009 reveal as “project Natal.”

The accessory has been successful in the casual / family market with titles such as Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and the most popular title Dance Central. While we enjoy those titles with friends, family and wives (in particular for Dance Central), Kinect has failed to deliver proper usage to popular first person shooters and MLB 2K. The Xbox 360 which isn’t known for being a casual console in comparison to the Nintendo Wii, has been underwhelming for its core (hardcore) audience.
