College Teams are back but only playable in MyCareer
Including NCAA Football, the biggest outcry over the last few seasons has been the exile of annual College Basketball releases from the video game industry. The NCAA has ruined the lives of many, including our, as we’ve had to literally go back to the Xbox 360 every spring for March Madness and play College Hoops 2K8. While we’re likely to do this again for the foreseeable future and beyond, it’s nice that Take Two Sports and the NCAA have some open line of communication, which we were able to see a few of the most prestigious basketball programs from around the country in NBA 2K16.
Unfortunately, you’re only limited to one locked player in the MyCareer path and can only play three total games in collegiate realm. Luckily, this gives some hope that there’s still a chance of College Basketball returning to its original state in the virtual hardwood, following the success of this title.
