An X-Games Implementation
For many years, THPS was bigger in the mainstream than the actual X-Games which is say something that was somewhat baffling for many years us but we initially didn’t understand how large of a following the birdman had at the time. However, with the annual extreme sports event gaining notoriety in the mainstream during recent years with help from Disney’s ABC and ESPN, it’s almost impossible to not have an implement for Skateboard vert, park and most of all Big Air. We’re not saying every event from the X-Games has to be included, but at least a decent amount of content is mandatory for the game to be taken serious.
This gives the game added depth and value when the spring and summer events have buzz surrounding them, which could also set up for an abundance of downloadable content. We’re not expecting an overflow of DLC to happen year one, but it’s something to keep an eye on down the road.
