DJ Mustard, DJ Premier & DJ Khaled? It’s LIT!
As much as we love Pharrell personally and professionally, we dreaded hearing the NBA 2K15 soundtrack every time we booted up the game, to the point where the soundtrack had to be disabled. We like hearing Lorde, No Doubt, OneRepublic, Santigold, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the rest and that; but there’s a time and place for it, and that’s not something we like to hear when hitting up the virtual hardwood with our boys.
This year, Take-Two Interactive is going all out in follow-up to the great Skateboard P, with announcing three hip-hop heavyweights will be behind this year’s game. That’s right, DJ Mustard, DJ Premier & DJ Khaled are set to bring the sounds of three coasts to the forefront of the popular urbanized series.
The super-producer, legendary hip-hop producer and renowned producer are set to bring a total of 50 tracks to the upcoming Spike Lee-direction picture – including six brand new never-before-heard exclusive tracks. While the game is set to go live September 25th if you pre-order, look for more details to emerge in the coming weeks regarding the soundtrack’s official tracklist and more.
