Two years ago, Square Enix and Sony revealed an official HD remake for Final Fantasy X to be re-released along with a sequel to Final Fantasy X-2. Yoshinori Kitase revealed production had begun in early 2012, and we got a glimpse of the first action earlier this year. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is to include both titles Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster and would be released soon.
Today, we learn the two RPGs will release next spring on March 18, 2014 in North America first, then three days later on March 21st in Europe. Japan gets the game first next month on December 26 for PS3 and Vita, but North America and Europe will be limited to only the PlayStation 3 version for the time being.
