The blueprint is laid out & the masses are waiting!
As GameStop continues to look into ways combating digital sales before the next console cycle, CEO Paul Raines gave an outlook for the business this year. Raines, like the rest of the gaming community, is awaiting details from Sony regarding their PlayStation VR expansion later this year.
Paul opted not to go into details, but did say GameStop would be launching the product this fall. He also went to cite how the retailer is also in talks to carry both Oculus Rift ($599) and HTC Vive (No Price) – both expected to be compatible with Xbox One this spring.
While the masses await the imminent release date announcement at e3 this summer, take a look at Mr. Raines discussing how GameStop is planning to gear up for a crazy fourth quarter.
