With the release of Nintendo’s new console the “Wii-U” set to launch in a couple of hours, last night the Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime returned to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to show off more games of the new upcoming console. Here, Reggie and Jimmy start things off in a battle on Metroid Blast which shows of the consoles graphical power and their “other” big shooter not named Zombie U.
The two then jump in “New Super Mario Bros. U” as Reggie states this is the first new Mario game launching simultaneously with their new console for the first time in 16 years (Nintendo 64). While playing Mario in HD, Jimmy’s enthusiasm and random excitingly outburst make the crowd and those not in the know of the new console wanting more as they show off the new Wii U GamePad (Great Marketing Nintendo!).
Nintendo finally jumps to “HD”…in 2012 as the Wii-U launches worldwide tonight (Yes, that tonight) at Midnight as you can check the related links below for all the information you need on this system. If you haven’t pre-ordered and want to purchase last second, be ready to double-up on Craigslist. You can check after the jump to view Reggie walking the streets of NYC around the Nintendo World Store last night visiting the early campers waiting in line for the Wii-U.
