MORTALLLLLLLLLL KOMBATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!
Our first early major e3 announcement the week prior comes from Warner Bros. unveiling the latest installment in their legendary Mortal Kombat series. Last week, Amazon UK prematurely revealed a working title “Mortal Kombat 10”, which appeared on their site for Xbox One and 360, as well as PlayStation 3 and 4. The listing was removed after it started becoming the topic of discussion on social media last week. Today Warner Bros. officially unveiled their new Mortal Kombat X title before the e3 pressing event begins one week from today in Los Angeles.
MKX will be released on both current and next-generation consoles for Microsoft and Sony; and has been given a very vague 2015 release date. We’re hoping the title arrives in early 2015, after seeing the impressive premiere trailer from WB and developer NetherReal, which showcases Scorpion and Sub-Zero in an epic due to for our first glimpse at the new and heavily improved Mortal Kombat experience. Check after the jump to watch Mortal Kombat X “Who’s Next” trailer, and then look for its release sometime next year.
Note: Featuring an original track by Wiz Khalifa “Can’t Be Stopped” (Prod. by RMB Jutize & Sledgren).
