Over the last few months, we’ve seen bits and pieces (publicly) of Take-Two and 2K Sports’ next installment in their NBA series, but now we have an official trailer. Unlike the previous “The Reign Begins” and “Video Game James” trailers that featured next generation gameplay, the new “Hate Me Now” clip showcases the title on current generation hardware.
Although the visuals aren’t jaw dropping, we get a sense of the direction Visuals Concepts (developers of NBA 2K) has gone with the upcoming basketball simulation nearing its release. The classic Puff Daddy and NaS track is played through the duration of the trailer from the soundtrack, but we’re still going to have to use the OnSMASH playlist when the NBA 2K14 hits retail this October 1st.
