Ryan McCaffrey from IGN introduces us to the new LeBron James mode on NBA 2K14 entitled “Path to Greatness.” On NBA 2K11, we encountered the Michael Jordan mode “Creating a Legend”, which re-created the past on his career. In comparison to Creating a Legend, Path to Greatness charts LeBron’s future with two choices of staying with Miami to form a Heat Dynasty or a Fantastic Journey starting with the New York Knicks.

Visuals Concepts came up with the scenarios without LeBron, including moving players around the league in a Fantasy-driven but realistically believable dynamic. Check after the jump for an introduction to the LBJ mode showing off more gameplay for NBA 2k14.
