Thursday night, 2K Sports held their annual road to the finals series, where a few bums battled it out to see who could win $200,000 and a trip to Oakland for tomorrow’s game 1 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. A few weeks ago, Kobe Bryant was revealed as the legends edition cover athlete for the upcoming title, as a tribute to his recent retirement.
However, Take-Two Interactive has formally announced they’ve tapped Indiana Pacers star, Paul George, will grace this year’s standard edition of the basketball simulator game. With George averaging 23 points in his fifth year of professional play, this is a surprising move from 2K Sports – given their history of tapping MVP’s.
