NBA 2K15 has some legit competition this fall, graphically.
Last year Electronic Arts Sports resurrected their basketball series NBA LIVE. Although the title wasn’t next-gen ready or had decent enough gameplay to keep our attentions (google search: EA Sports apology), we’re still giving the title some look into this upcoming season with some impressing screens we’ve seen during e3. In the brief vlog from EA Sports, this year’s art directors for NBA Live 15 introduce us to the new graphical improvements from not only the players but the entire game. An accurate realistic presentation in comparison to real life was the team’s first focus this year, hopefully behind some better gampeplay.
Starting with the player’s faces, the next installment continued to jerseys, shoes, and lighting techniques among other very noticeable improvements this year. Continue after the jump for insight into the visual upgrading we can expect this fall, when LIVE 15 goes retail.
