Mario Mobile is still on delay!
Much like The Legend of Zelda on Wii-U this holiday, Nintendo has unfortunately delayed its first mobile smartphone game. While many didn’t expect a Mario or Zelda to land on any smartphone platform, the Japanese-based company revealed that its Miitomo title is now on old until fiscal year March 2016. Miitomo, will be a free-to-play upon initial launch and will offer in-game content and future add-ons. Company CEO Tatsumi Kimishima, revealed that the reasoning for the delay was for Nintendo to properly promote the game, which it felt they weren’t doing to close out the year.
However, the BIG N plans to fully promote the game, starting in January, and will reveal more mobile IPs before and during E3 in Los Angeles. Stay tuned for more from Nintendo this holiday.
