Today, Nintendo held their first Direct conference of 2014. Mario Kart, Game Boy Advance Games, Bayonetta 2 and of course Super Smash Bros. were the center of attention in the 40-minute clip. Along with the first game-play footage of MONOLITH SOFT INC.’s secretive project X, the title was extremely reminiscent of the previous Wii title Xenoblade Chronicles. Back to the big news, Mario Kart 8 will finally be invading the Wii U on May 30th.
A slew of Game Boy Advance titles in the likes of Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 will he be hitting the Wii U virtual console beginning April. The most exciting news however is the unveiling of the NES Remix 2; which will feature new challenges from previous games in the likes of Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby’s Adventure and Metroid. You can expect that packaging to arrive on April 25th for $14.99.
