Nintendo Flagship Store Relaunch Creates NYC’s Longest Video Game Line Ever

The home of Nintendo is back with a new name and new look!

Nintendo’s Flagship New York City store has been receiving a renovation for some time, as we were introduced to Nintendo World. Luckily, one observer on hand had a charged phone ready in the midst of the Manhattan frenzy, which only a certain number of people were allowed to enter at once. Much like the legendary Virgin Mega Store’s demise, the original Nintendo Store was a go-to spot for many gamers to pick up exclusive content found only on the island – but lost its edge.

With the Nintendo NX set to launch in 2017, the Japanese-based company has a massive amount of buzz surrounding them currently, as fans have grown tired of delays and unpolished release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the last three years. Take a look at this insane line from Rockefeller Center and beyond, then peep some pictures from the new look mid-town store.

This was today, by the way. . . . .
