The live action trailer for the game too big for a live action trailer
Next month, Microsoft’s AAA-Title Sunset Overdrive will finally be hitting digital and retail. Before gamers get their hands on the upcoming Xbox One exclusive open-world and third person title, we’re greeted with an official live action trailer. Insomniac Games, known for previous PlayStation hits Ratchet & Clank, Spyro and Resistance among others revealed a partnership with Microsoft last fall for their highly-anticipated title.
While some are touting the title as Grand Theft Auto and Jet Set Radio hybrid, Sunset Overdrive is attempting to become a Killer-App highlighted by its weaponized destruction and hyper agility not found on the market at the moment. In the trailer, we’re teased at how catastrophic an actual real-life version of the title would be, including some gameplay footage via remote play.
