‘Days Gone’ is birthed & Syphon Filter is never coming back
With the Syphon Filter series approaching a decade since its last release, fans are still waiting for details if the third-person stealth title will ever see a new release past PlayStation 2. While that’s unlikely to happen this decade, SCE Bend Studio revealed their highly-anticipated IP, Days Gone.
The open-world adventure game is set in a post-apocalyptic setting, as you play as the Deacon St. John – who’s trying to find purpose in living. After a global pandemic that wipes out most of the world’s population, John is forced to harsh conditions for two years and has to survive. A release date for the title wasn’t discussed, but you can get an extended look at the title above.
