While we’ve seen Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon during the last two years, Ubisoft will be returning to the Rainbow Six series with Patriots and its EndWar series for The Division in 2014.
The upcoming tactical shooter (from a third person perspective), will be first Tom Clancy title hitting next-generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 systems next year. If you remember the impressive demo from E3 last June, it left us really wanting more action; which Ubisoft Massive has returned to deploy more gameplay. Ubisoft is pushing a huge emphasis on realism this time around wanting to deliver the most realistic environment seen for an adventure shooter yet highlighted by its advanced particle systems and volumetric lighting.
The Division will be an online based multiplayer only title set in the open world available in Q4 2014. Watch the “Snowdrop Engine” trailer after the jump.
