The Three-Year cycle for C.O.D. games has officially started

Later this, Call of Duty will be obviously arriving for yet another installment in the world’s largest third party release. If you remember last year, Activison revealed a third studio would be helming development for their first-person shooter – alongside Infinity Ward and Treyarch. Three months ago, fans were formally introduced to developer Sledgehammer Games with the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

While the game took a massive step outside the box (pun intended) with the introducing of EXO ability, Activision Blizzard has confirmed Treyarch’s development for the next Call of Duty title. Best known for creating the World at War and Black Ops franchises on last-generation, we’re hoping the new three-year development cycle for each studio pays off for consumers with quality releases.
