Xbox One Launch Buyer’s Guide

x1

In a few days from now, Microsoft’s next installment for the Xbox video game series will be releasing worldwide on November 22nd. Unlike the last generation of consoles where Xbox 360 hit the market first to get an early lead on Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3, the Xbox One releases last and will have initial ground to easily gain this year having the strongest launch lineup; along with some exclusive timed-DLC this winter.

The console’s been heavily upgraded from 8-year old technology (maybe 12-years in some cases), and will be what original Xbox 360 owners hoped for a console jump in technology back in 2005. The Xbox 360’s had some of the best gaming experience we’ve ever had, and with hardware finally being stable, we expect that trend to continue for its life-cycle.

When the console launches, there will be a few top-tier titles exclusive on the console; but we’re wondering if the Microsoft can keep up with Sony’s big lineup of 2014 in the coming months. With a day-one cloud service implemented into all games, gamers will find out what the next-generation is all about this Friday. After the jump, you can view our buyer’s guide similar to the PlayStation 4 and find out whether we’ll be purchasing day one or waiting for the 2nd wave of games out this spring and summer.
