Xbox One Launch Buyer’s Guide

Should You Buy The Xbox One Day 1?

The Xbox 360 has been the most tiring console (or device) we’ve ever seen. From constant console failures, disc scratching within the console and cheap accessories; nobody is more than ready to put their console in the closet more than us, love you Gears of War 1. The Xbox One from an initial standpoint will have zero issues from freezing, overheating, lagging user interface and most of all the infamous red ring of death. We’ve never gave a company more passes more than Microsoft just due to how innovative and great the Xbox Live service for some of our most entertainment moments ever.

The launch line up is okay with Dead Rising, Forza and RYSE; but the system still lacks a major Killer-App and first person shooter. This is now our console of choice to purchase for the present due to initial launch line ups having titles delayed on the competition. What holds this system back is the $500 price in a worsened economy than previously before. The PlayStation 3 launched at $600 and $500 back in 2006, which held them from contention with the Wii and Xbox 360 for many years.

While Nintendo has already sealed their fate trying to join the hardcore lane, in comparison to keeping things simple that helped them win last generation; the console wars will be just Microsoft and Sony this time around. Microsoft is very lucky some users have decided to hold off initial PlayStation 4 purchasing, but will have to match the strong exclusive line-up Sony has to offer in 2014. If you’re in desperate need of jump to next-generation for games like NBA LIVE, NBA 2K (biggest graphical leap of the bunch), FIFA, Madden, Call of Duty, and Battlefield among other mainstream titles; then purchasing an Xbox One would be something you would like to invest in.

Microsoft’s main focus has been pushing the entertainment aspect of the console highlight by having the most apps ready for day one, but now with the most games ready (exclusive that is), we’ll be picking up Xbox One day 1.
