‘Cloverfield’ Gets a Sequel
While the world wasn’t looking, director Dan Trachtenberg teamed up with J.J. Abrams to make 10 Cloverfield Lane, a sequel to the 2008 movie Cloverfield.
The first trailer, out today, was premiered during the theater screening of Michael Bay’s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi last night. Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher, Jr. in leading roles, the plot is based on the aftermath of a car accident, where a woman wakes up in a cellar with someone who claims to have saved her from a chemical attack. Expecting the worst, she decides to escape.
The film was written by Josh Campbell and Matthew Stuecken and arrives March 11th.
