Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Although we’re 11 months away from the big release, Star Wars: Episode VII is arguably the biggest film releasing in 2015. George Lucas’ sequel to his 1983 classic Return of the Jedi is surprisingly not using many CGI backgrounds in the latest installment to the franchise. The Force Awakens to no surprise has over a $200 million budget thanks to Walt Disney Pictures, as Lucasfilm will be looking to take over the entire holiday season when it arrives to theaters on December 18, 2015. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker return to reprise their roles from previous installments – with newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and GIRLS actor Adam Driver making their debut for the epic space opera film. May the force be with you next December!
