Yes, DC Comics has yet another series invading your visual devices this fall with the upcoming show Constantine. The new fantasy-horror series focuses on antihero John Constantine, portrayed by Matt Ryan and also stars Harold Perrineau from HBOs cult-phenomenon, OZ. Fans of the popular comic series Hellblazer, should recognize many familiar faces in the new NBC show, which will focus on Constantine’s constant battle with leaving behind his dark past to protect humanity from imminent super natural threats.
This may be one series most will have on DVR due to its time slot at the peak end of the week, but DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television are investing heavily into it for what they’re hoping can be a household favorite.
Constantine premieres Friday, October 24 at 9pm ET/PT on NBC
