5 New Summer 2015 TV Series We Enjoyed

Fear the Walking Dead

Initially, we were skeptical whether a spin-off for The Walking Dead would actually work, but the zombie-horror series can actually live on with additional shows properly done right. One of AMC Networks’ biggest new series this year, not named Humans, was the introduction to their Fear the Walking Dead. The show serves as a prequel to main series, and has a slew of fresh new faces to show like Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mercedes Mason, Alycia Debnam-Carey and our girl Kim Dickens.

Unlike the original, which takes place in the east coast, the spin-off transitions to Los Angeles, California at the start of the life-changing zombie apocalypse outbreak that changed the world. Following a strange plague and disappearance of locals, Madison Clark and Travis Manawa of a local high school are at the center-piece of a love story within the confines of the outbreak; which the two look to unlikely sources in the midst of all out chaos. If you’re a fan of the original series, this is definitely a must see. However, if you’re new to the series, it would be in your best interest to watch the original The Walking Dead before it returns for the sophomore season next year.

Look for Fear the Walking Dead Sundays at 9:00pm ET on AMC Network.
