Chappelle’s Show meets Saturday Night Live?
While 50 Cent is dominating headlines this year for an on-going bankruptcy trial, the Queens mogul has now partnered with A&E Networks to create his own variety show. The show, which is titled 50 Cent Presents, will feature a no–holds–barred mashup of comedy sketches, music, stand-up, reality experiments, celebrity guest appearances, dancing and even magic, of all things.
Fifty is set to executive produce the entire project and will also serve as on-camera host of his self-titled show. He said in a statement earlier, “I grew up watching variety shows and am excited to put my own spin on the format. I hope everyone is ready to bring their talent forward, I want to show the world the best of the best.” We’re sure most are intrigued at the idea of an urban variety show finally returning to TV, as the first trailer surfacing will likely generate more attention to the series.
