It was only a matter of time, but the mainstream is now aware of the what’s going on in Colorado, thanks to CBS’ 60 Minutes. In this special report, they explore what some are calling “The Green rush,” visiting entrepreneurs and legislatives at the forefront of the movement by getting their first hand opinion of what’s going on.
Talking to dispensary owners, they find out about what different strains do, how legit running a medical marijuana business is in Colorado and why the federal government is turning a blind eye to what’s happening. Plus they get a lesson in the “other” products that have been invented as a result of this surge in weed business (see: edibles).
The clip reminds us a lot about The Future Of Weed: High Country documentary, which explored this same topic, except 60 Minutes is catering to the middle America, soccer mom and grandma demographic. We’re sure they were all shocked at seeing this.
