A Closer Look at Drake’s OVO x Roots Varsity Jacket

It’s an October’s Very Own thing

With October actually around the corner, Drake and his OVO brand are looking to keep their fans cozy for the Fall with a sick varsity jacket collaboration with Roots (the Canadian GAP). The navy blue and brown varsity jacket with brown leather sleeves and blue merino wool is actually the third varsity jacket in the OVO releases, with different colored iterations dropping in 2011 and in 2014.

The jacket sports an OVO patch in the front and OCTOBER across the back, paying homage to the October’s Very Own brand, as well as the countries of Canada and United States with a patch of both of their flags on the left side. Not only will it get better with each wear, but it looks warm enough to keep you out of the cold for those cuffing nights.

The jacket is super limited edition, considering only 75 will be available for sale and they will retail at $492 exclusively at the OVO flagship store in Toronto tomorrow.

If you want one of these for the closet, you might want to holler at one of your woes from the 6 to pick one up if they’re in the area and/or are camping outside of the store tonight. We can only assume these will be in high demand out in T-dot.
