Expect the music on streaming soon. . .

Aaliyah unconscious plane crash story has some of her most loyal fans believing there was something behind her passing 20 years ago. For whatever reason, information from the tragic passing of Aaliyah is surfacing.

This week, the Daily Mail reported a story on a newly released book from someone that was there before the incident happened. In a new book entitled, Baby Girl: Better Known as Aaliyah by music journalist Kathy Iandoli, the new bombshell was revealed to the entire world.

After decades of being silent, an eyewitness revealed that the singer was given a sleeping pill and carried onto the suspect aircraft before her fatal 2001 crash in the Bahamas. Aaliyah was there filming her Rock the Boat music video, as the book confirmed that she was unconscious boarding the flight.

It revealed, “They took her out of the van; she didn’t even know she was getting boarded on a plane. She went on the airplane asleep.” The witness, Kingsley Russell, who was 13 at the time, said she witnessed the entire thing. Aaliyah reportedly had reservations about boarding the aircraft, learning that it was overweight.

The pilot explained that the aircraft would be too cumbersome with eight passengers, as well as their bags and cameras. After noticing the plane was smaller than expected on their arrival to Marsh Harbour Airport in Abaco, Bahamas; the singer claimed she had a headache.

Russell soon revealed that her team handed the singer a pill, causing her to fall into a deep sleep, as they carried an unconscious Aaliyah onto the plane.

The small, two-engine Cesssna plane, failed to gain altitude and crashed 200 feet from the end of the runway. The crash would soon end the lives of Aaliyah and all eight members of her entourage.

In a report by the New York Times a year later, the pilot alleged faked his license and was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine at the time of the accident.

Russel closed out saying, “The only thing I’ve taken with me is that after 20 years, I can finally say that Aaliyah didn’t want to get on the plane That makes me feel a little better, but not much. This didn’t have to happen. She should still be here, and I think that’s the saddest part about it.”

In related news, the estate of the singer shared their thoughts on Aaliyah’s former label releasing her music to streaming services this year.
