Yeah, bitch! Great news from the Breaking Bad universe today, as reports are saying that Aaron Paul is in serious talks to join the cast of the prequel show, Better Call Saul. No deal is in place yet, but Paul has expressed his interest to appear on the show and said that he owes his entire career to creator Vince Gilligan. The only snag that we can think of is the continuity of the storyline, and how Paul’s character, Jesse Pinkman, would fit into the prequel, seeing how he had never met Saul at the beginning of the show. Though, if any writer can pull this off it would be the masterful Vince Gilligan.
Filming has not yet begun for the spinoff, but word is they hope to get it on the air by the fall. Another popular cast member has also been rumored of coming back, and no, it’s not Walter White. It is White’s DEA brother-in-law Hank Schrader, played by Dean Norris. The only snag for him, is he is currently working on a show for CBS. Aaron Paul is currently in the midst of promo for his biggest film to date, Need For Speed.

“Anything Vince is involved with, I’m there,” Paul says. “I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it’s all a prequel — it would be fun.”
