Adidas Original has been getting lot’s of love from the Hip Hop community since the early years, being one of the first major shoe brands to embrace the culture, enlisting legendary rap trio Run DMC as one of the brands key marketing faces in the early 80’s. In light of all the brands recent success and many buisiness ventures within Hip Hop, Adidas and DJ A-Trak decided to pay homage to the iconic group that jumped off a large part of their early success, Hollis Queens crew Run D.M.C.
Adidas put together a small collection of sweatsuits, crew necks, t-shirts, and a custom pair of classic white/black Adidas superstar shell toe’s , all stamped with the iconic Run D.M.C logo. items from the collection will be available in a couple colorways, and will be available purchase at select Adidas Originals retailers in September.
