Besides all the Air Jordan releases this summer, there is also some heat dropping in the Carmelo Anthony line-up. Carmelo Anthony was last seen wearing the Air Jordan Melo M4 China last Fall during a charity game in Beijing to support the Special Olympics, the China Hope Project and the Chi Heng Foundation, which benefits Chinese orphans with AIDS. The shoe is inspired by wood, which is Carmelo’s Chinese astrological sign. The inspiration is consistent with the shoe, as it features wood grain panels, as well as bland, earthtone colors across the shoe. The back of the shoe consists of a map of Shen Yang and Guangzhou that pay tribute to the first Jordan Brand store in China, which is the same location where this special edition shoe was released. via KicksOnFire
