Whenever Alessandra Ambrosio steps into a room, people generally remember her killing the Victoria’s Secret runways over the years – oh, and her amazing beauty as well. The Brazilian bombshell makes a stop to Ocean Drive in South Beach for her latest revealing spread, while still leaving a lot to the imagination. In the new shoot with longtime collaborator Stewart Shining, she gives us a first look at the latest swim collection for her eponymous line of fashion, which some of you may have recognized other angels modeling over the months.
“We’re just as human as everybody else, and nobody is perfect,” she says of models. “For me, it’s more about being healthy. When I was young, I didn’t care. Now, if I eat two days of junk food, I feel terrible, and then you have to do a cleanse to feel good. Sometimes I’ll splurge. I was at a music festival this whole weekend, and they didn’t have anything really healthy, so I was eating chicken tenders, but now I’m going to have sushi this week and nice, clean food, like salad. It’s all about balancing and trying to stay healthy.”
