The Debut ‘Alien: Covenant’ Movie Trailer is the Most Horrifying Holiday Gift Ever

Scared?

Next spring, 20th Century Fox is putting efforts into bringing back thrills to the big screen – wanting to scare the shit out of viewers. Today, the company celebrates today’s holiday, with the first official trailer for Ridley Scott’s upcoming 2017 release of Alien: Covenant.

If you were confused by the 2012 Prometheus project, the pending film has lots of answers to explain who did what and why. In the trailer, we get a look at the Covenant crew, who believe they’ve found a remote planet in the opposite end of the galaxy, but come across a dangerous world.

With the focus shifted back to being a straight-up horror movie, some are even saying it has potential to be the most promising film since the original 1979 release.

Starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollet, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby, look for Alien: Covenant out May 19, 2017.
