Here’s when Preacher is returning to TV!
Last year, DC Comics treated fans with the live action release of their AMC series, Preacher. The supernatural series was met with great acclaim from critics and more importantly, fans, who tuned every week – providing a consistent viewership for its freshman year.
However, this weekend, AMC and DC Comics have shared information for its second season; revealing the west Texas preacher, Jesse Custer, will be returning to TV on June 19th.
Before its sophomore campaign, we were left with a cliffhanger of Jesse heading out on a road trip to find the truth behind god; as well the Saint of Sinners returning to earth from hell, and looking to stop his pursuit – ironically on the request of two angels.
At SXSW this weekend, the cable network shared photos of The Cowboy, Cassidy, Jesse and lady Tulip for the upcoming summer return, which you can take a look at below.
