Jamie Foxx returns to the big screen in what seems like a film for the family this Christmas. ANNIE stars Quvenzhané Wallis, who plays the role of a foster child in Harlem and is used as a pawn in Foxx’s mayoral campaign for better rating in the polls. Cameron Diaz also shows up for the film as Miss Hannigan, the crazy foster mother.
After seeing how much the girl means to him, he takes her under his wing until the biological parents appear from the blue to reclaim their daughter. Of course this throws a wrench in the plan, but its nothing a “Tomorrow” rendition can’t save.
The Will Gluck-directed movie is set to hit theaters this December.
