If you have old smartphones, Apple wants them! Beginning today only at its retail store location, Apple has introduced a new trade-up program that enables consumers to swap out their old iPhone, and upgrade to a cheaper monthly fee that the company currently has running on their website.
Older devices like even an iPhone 4 are eligible for trade-up, which the smartphone friendly deal in-person only at the Apple Store. Upgrading to the iPhone 6s will run you $15 bucks for 24 months from an original iPhone 6. Those of you who have waited five years to upgrade from an iPhone 4, will have to play to roughly pay up to $35 a month for the new flash hardware.
However, for the first time ever, you can trade in Android and Windows phones as well, with the option of upgrading to a 6s or using Apple store credit up to $300 for a future purchase.
We’re assuming this deal is likely happening due to the imminent announcement of iPhone 7.
