Apple Gets Blamed for Thor: Ragnarok’s Accidental Online Leak

Check your local bootleger or torrent provider. . .

Last week, copies of Thor: Ragnarok hit the dark web, thanks to miscommunication between Vudo and Apple. Apparently, Apple had a mix-up on when the film would be available to all streaming platforms; as part of the Movies Anywhere program to have simulcast releases across platform.

Well, users who were pre-ordering the film on iTunes, realized that the project was available early. We’re sure Disney is probably heated about the mishap, as Thor wasn’t expected to release on services until February 20th. Surprisingly, that date is still being kept, as the Walt Studio and Marvel Entertainment aren’t too worried about combating further piracy.
