For those who just got your iPhone 7 and don’t have a case for it yet, this video is a must watch. We all know you’re probably paranoid of dropping it, but hopefully this video will ease your fears. Of course, you can always get a case for it to be safe.
Thanks to Tab Times, a two-tier drop test was performed in Australia on a concrete surface, to see how much it will take to damage the new Apple phone.
First, they dropped the phone on its back, front and top and nothing happened but a few scratches. Then they dropped it from a higher altitude and it got significant more scuffs on its body but the screen stayed in tact. Turns out the home button and camera lens resisted shattering, but the rear camera did experience a scratch.
The only thing, don’t sit on your phone and go underwater, that might be a bad look.
