Whenever an Apple conference is held each year, it’s always a momentous occasion for one of the world’s leading brands and influences on modern day culture. Today’s occasion was no different, apart from the fact that customers of the company may be the happiest they’ve been in some time, based on a number of important decisions that have been made.

Firstly, the primary reason for the announcements were based around the reveal of the new iPad, with the fifth generation arriving in the form of the iPad Air. In short terms, the product will have a 10-hour battery life and work eight times faster than previous models, thanks to the addition of an A7 chip. At now an impressive 7.5mm and 20% thinner than the last release, users are given a completely lighter and aesthetically streamline design, holding a 1080p forward camera for FaceTime with a five megapixel on the rear. Although it will be a no cellular version, you can expect it to be released on November 1st, with the current price standing at $500 for a 16GB model.

If you’re looking to grab the second generation of the iPad Mini, you’ll be pleased to know that it also has an A7 chip which will work at the same speed and battery duration as the iPad Air, but will also include a Retina display. This will be available at some point during the end of November, and will be priced at $400 for a 16GB model.

Much to our surprise, Apple have released Mac’s latest operating system OS X Mavericks at an immediate effect, with over 200 updates now available to be downloaded from the App Store here for free. For those looking to finally pick up the powerful Mac Pro, you can do so later this year for $2999, or even grab a 13-inch MacBook Pro (now 3.5 pounds and .71 inches thin) for $1300 or 15-inch for $2000. In terms of bonus overall software for already Apple users, collaboration tools have been added towards iWork and iLife, which should definitely be noted in the new upgrade to the software to help keep up with other companies.
