Get ready for Apple watch to hit retail later in June!
Since its release April 24th, the Apple Inc. smart watch has been one of the most sought after technology devices from consumers who chose not to pre-order last holiday. With prices ranging from its basic model at $349 to the $18-karat gold edition at $10,000, the device is finally arriving to retail Apple stores on June 26th.
So, if you waited the last two months to get your hands on the new piece of hardware, you’re in luck later this month to walk into Apple location and make a purchase. The Apple Watch is currently available in three collections for third generation models: Apple Watch Sport ($349 and $350), Apple Watch ($549 and $1,099) and Apple Watch Edition for custom rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys at $10,000.
“The response to Apple Watch has surpassed our expectations in every way, and we are thrilled to bring it to more customers around the world,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s senior vice president of Operations. “We’re also making great progress with the backlog of Apple Watch orders, and we thank our customers for their patience. All orders placed through May, with the sole exception of Apple Watch 42 mm Space Black Stainless Steel with Space Black Link Bracelet, will ship to customers within two weeks. At that time, we’ll also begin selling some models in our Apple Retail Stores.”
