With Obama’s time as president coming to an end, this biopic couldn’t arrive at a more fitting time. Following a teaser last month, Netflix has revealed the official trailer for Barry, a biopic based on the life of a young Barack Obama.
The upcoming film follows Barry’s (Obama’s nickname) life in 1981, when he moved to New York City and started his junior year at Columbia University. From relationships with his parents and friends to ongoing issues in America, Barry is the coming of age of the 44th president.
Barry hits theaters December 16th.
