March 25th is 30 Days Away!

In a little over a month from today, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will finally be hitting theaters. Warner Bros. and DC Comics is looking to helm honors of becoming the highest grossing film of the year – which will feature the epic clash between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel.

While the theatrical version we’ll see in a few weeks is PG-13, The Motion Picture Association of America has decided its Ultimate Edition has earrned the film an R-Rating. Bonus scenes are expected to be included and will feature more violence than the original cut.

At the moment, it’s unclear how many extras we’ll be treated to; but with 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool intriguing movie-goers to rush to the big screen for its sex, brutality and obvious profanity, we’re assuming this will prompt DC Comics to reexamine its traditional PG-13 origins.

The official run-time for Dawn of Justice is 2 hours and 31 minutes.
