The streets of GOTHAM are very much in danger next march!
Is it possible for one movie to make an entire collective of movie goers forget about the entire existence of Marvel – or better yet the entire movie industry for 2016? Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment threw their weight around the San Diego Comic-Con convention Saturday night, with the unveiling of the extended trailer for the upcoming mega-blockbuster release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The 3 ½ minute presentation showcases dialogue of Bruce Wayne, Wonder Woman, Superman and the fan favorite, Lex Luthor.
In the heart-pumping affair, we witness the legendary Wayne Tower, which was destroyed his fr-enemy Superman’s battle with Zod; which also sets up for an interesting twist regarding Suicide Squad. This leads to Wayne resurrecting his infamous suit out of retirement to avenge his loss against Clark Kent.
With Superman indicted by the U.S. government for his destruction in the metropolitan area, we’re still met with the question of where Wonder Woman’s allegiance lies between the two iconic super heroes. Get blown away (literally) with an extended looks at Clark’s laser vision, the batarang and some up close shots of the Batmobile – which coincidentally references major natural disasters that have taken place within the last decade.
