DO YO GUDDA
After learning about Compton through Kendrick Lamar‘s perspective and seeing a part of it with Lil L, VICELAND’s BOMPTON series goes down to Rosecrans to kick it with Hitta J3. He is also one of K Dot’s childhood friends trying to break out in the music game and did with his song “Do Yo Gudda,” which sparked a dance that was big in the city. The remix of the record featured Kendrick, YG and Problem as well, and shed light to the track.
In this clip, they follow Hitta J3 as he visited an online radio station with a 14-year old radio host, alongside Boogie and Kalifornia King Special. Snoop Dogg even called up to check in, as everyone talked about what it was like to come from the CPT.
Before things wrapped up on J3’s block and meet his family, King Special took the cameras to a hotel room to talk about how he makes money on the side to get his rap career going.
